TCPdirect plugin allows your database to communicate with any service that uses the basic underlying protocol of the Internet: TCP.
The new TCPdirect version 2.0 introduces powerful new functions for single-step fetching of web pages and other data using the HTTP protocol. It also introduces across-the-board support for SSL encryption of any TCP session (including HTTPS).
If you need to communicate with services that use a TCP-based protocol other than HTTP, Fusion TCPdirect provides flexible functions to establish and close connections, and send and receive TCP data.
